An XXL size made in magnificent black glacé in full crocodile finish, the dimensions are of 40 cm length, a 24 cm height, and a depth of 17 cm. Bettina à Paris® priority is aesthetics first rather than poor material cut. 

Bettina Amberg needed the challenge of creating a very big bag. Yet, her main activity of creating small leathergoods is not discarded, and this tote bag can be accessorized with all the pieces of her Bettina à Paris® small leathergoods collections : the bag charm, the classic cardholder, the rechargeable mini lighter case and the keyholder. 

The creator has imagined well thought out, yet refined details for her tote bag, such as handles with a 73 cm length allowing the tote bag to be carried on the shoulder for free hand movements. For the bag chapes, she found inspiration in the shape of ginger vases she admires during her travels to South-East Asia. A highly qualified leather crafter has been at work stitching the curvy chapes with greatest skill and know-how.

The creator has imagined well thought out, yet refined details for her tote bag, such as handles with a 73 cm length allowing the tote bag to be carried on the shoulder for free hand movements.

Bettina Amberg wanted hardware in a mysterious black, and Ruthenium metal pieces have been realized in a special fusion bath for that extra smooth finish. Each metal piece is plated in a metal bath separately, then finished individually. For the bag sides, she has designed chapes in miniature hiding a hardware allowing to attach a bag charm or a pochette, as one wishes.

The design of the XXL tote bag has required five entire crocodile skins of 65 cm width. Bettina à Paris® loves the full crocodile leather method, expression of true luxury. She has gone extra miles for her vision, realizing the bag bottom and the lining of the handles equally in full crocodile leather. 

Bettina à Paris® wanted the lining to be in plum coloured Nubuck leather. To avoid any inconvenience of transfer and disgorging on hands or objects, she did choose Nubuck leather made in Italy used in the furniture industry. Bettina Amberg adds that the Nubuck leather used as a lining up to the very upper edge of the tote bag enlivens the crocodile leather used in large quantities.

This tote bag, she wanted it without magnet button always showing marks after repeated use, without threads always in your way, without straps causing complication. For us ladies, the handling of a tote bag must be fast and easy.

For those desiring more protection, she has designed a removable bag bottom in Nubuck leather, embellished with sinuous stitching and a rectangle of Nubuck leather, very soft, un-lined, meant to be used as a further multi-task protection.
